GeekGirl1 it was more enjoyable to listen in Spanish than to anything on Fox.
Watching last night’s Argentina v. Algeria game there was nothing unenjoyable about watching it on Fox, the two commentators (John Strong & Stu Holden) did a great job appraising the match, the strategies, etc.. I would say something out loud to my wife and a second later they’d say exactly the same thing.
For a fair portion of the game i listened to the FIFA World Feed which had Seb Hutchinson & Andros Townsend and I found them to be a little flat and boring, with open ended questions about what’s going to happen next while American coverage was much more interactive, much more hands-on with accurate appraisals of what was happening on the field.
Having watched games hosted in a number of countries, the Fox coverage brings out the big guns of soccer stars for commentary during half-time and after the game whereas TSN, RTE, BBC, etc., has ’one time gold medal winner so and so for the Canadian woman’s national team’ which isn’t bad, but the Fox stuff is more exciting.
