bigcoda Yea I just checked, it’s still showing Sub-Split speeds in that area. They still haven’t made it down my street to replace the three amps they have marked. I hope they didn’t forget about our street over here? On a positive note, I did see a couple of areas showing network improvements on there map all day today.
That is strange. I wonder if the iHat process is struggling with amp somewhere in the chain and downgrading the entire area?
It sounds like we’re both in a similar boat then. As I too am waiting for them to get to my street.
Based on layout I’m now kind of thinking they might first do one or two more nodes placed into Amphenol doughouses fed directly off new underground fiber junction boxes on my side of the neighborhood(like the ones near the park). Then circle around a quickly cut out all remaining mid-split equipment for FDX throughout the entire neighborhood. Regardless of wherever they are in the upgrade process I figure the contractor will start up work again on Wednesday.
I did see an unmarked truck working over on the sidewalk of a nearby major road today (Pleasant Grove blvd) pushing conduit into the ground but it was orange instead of the typical reddish Xfinity color so it probably wasn’t related.
