ugly95 But, it is kind of odd how time has kind of been to the 2nd trilogy. Those were disappointing movies when they came out, and on a re-watch I didn’t find them to be any better.
I figure the 2nd trilogy is episodes 1-3, the prequels. You have to see the fan-edit Anti-Cheese editions that mostly remove Jar Jar Binks, the more cringey scenes, and whiny lines by Anikin. Just having the Trade Delegation members in the opening scene of Phantom Menace speak alien with subtitles vs horribly racist Japanese-accented English makes a massive difference.
Hopefully, Spaceballs 2 doesn’t need such fan-edits to make it palatable. I want it to go Plaid, not get jammed.
BTW, anyone know if Tim Russ will be picking the sand again after spending the intervening years in the Delta quadrant?
