He stopped acting when his wife died of cancer, in order to raise his two children.
But they are well into adulthood now (both involved in the industry) so it’s nice to have him return even if just for a few projects.
He’ll also be in the upcoming “Shrunk”, a sequel to the 1989 film ’Honey, I Shrunk the Kids".
To my mind, Rick Moranis and Martin Short have a lot in common. Both came out of Canadian comedy, both are good guys, both lost their wives young….
