Discussion.
The passage of a sharp cold front brought very strong wind gusts on
Monday, leading to a number of power outages. A total of 20,000
Hydro One customers were without power Monday afternoon and evening.
Whiteout conditions from snow and blowing snow, especially downwind
of the Great Lakes, resulted in multiple road closures.
