Firefox loading Broadband Bulletin "something went wrong".

Hi Everyone, I am using Firefox (134.0.2) to load Broadband Bulletin but every time it says "Something went wrong while trying to load the full version of this site. Try hard-refreshing this page to fix the error". I refresh in Firefox and still has the same thing. Also I have cleared the browser cache and cookies and history and still the same error. When I use MS.Edge (134.0.2) there are no error messages. With Google Chrome (Version 132.0.6834.160) there is no error. I just want to let everyone know if you are using Firefox to browse Broadband Bulletin there will be errors.

Deliberately vague "error" messages like that suggest a "security" issue related to your setup, not FF or BBBF.

Hi I am sorry for the delay. I work in IT as a help desk tech and that it take me 2 hrs from on the train to from work to home. There is a huge problems on the train today I got home at 7PM. Here are screen shots.

Somewhat-Reticent Deliberately vague "error" messages like that suggest a "security" issue related to your setup, not FF or BBBF.

I know when you said FF means Fire Fox. What does BBBF mean?

By located do yo mean that am I in a rural area or urban? I am in a urban area. I will try again tomorrow at work to see if the error comes back. Will let everyone know.

I think I SOLVED my own problem everyone. The problem was when I went to "SAFE MODE" today (2-4-25) after I came back from work and I went to Safe mod using the AVAST I can access Broadband bulletin.com WITHOUT ANY ERRORS. Then I uninstall AVAST and I went back Windows and it runs normal without any errors like ""Something went wrong while trying to load the full version of this site. Try hard-refreshing this page to fix the error". So the problem IS AVAST. I have figure out how to have the problem solve if I am using AVAST. As for work when I am in the office I will try again tomorrow if the problem occur again. I will update tomorrow to let everyone know. Again, thank you for all your help effort. I really appreciate all you guys for helping me with all the hard work you put in. I am soooo glad that this NEW forum is here where we can meet new friends.

Yay, getting close! You might want to let Avast support know about this! I wonder who else uses Avast with Firefox on BBBF. 😉

I am sure a lot of us worked with tech issues like you. 😉 Hopefully, you learned a lot from this that software and hardware can conflict. The hard part is sometimes trying to figure out what the heck is causing it! I have had issues that took me years to figure out! And some I never could figure out even with help! Oh and some issues are easy to reproduce, but developer(s) won't fix them. 🙁

Actually, I typed emoticons since I'm old school from the early 90s starting with dial-up BBSes (there are others who are even older in here). Example if I want a happy face, type : ) without the space and that should be autoformatted after posting. 🙂

OK thank you. I see. Actually I used dial up before it was Erols 1997-2002. Then I went to DSL Verizon 2002-2005and now I am with Spectrum 2005 to current. Thank you 🙂

Start typing, "smi", "fro", etc. Different emojis will appear. It confused me at first too, I thought you actually had to type in the box at the top that says "Type to search for an emoji". 😕

Yes you have to Type the words like cry and it shows the emoji as cry and all the different icons. Thanks for the help again 🙂.
