DSLreports.com is back but only as read only. Thankfully this site exist now.

There's no point in DSLR staying up as read-only as long as it's only available from :55 to :05 of each hour.

VerizonLover The 11 minute window (:55 to :06) is enough for people to back up specific content if they're prepared (though obviously not good for casual browsing), and people might not realize they need something specific for a long time.

Apparently it is standard on the mini-bar and you have the option to show it or not and you can also change the icons.

Kathy_9 Last time I checked during the window, the DSLR search function didn't seem to be working (it ought to be, even with read only). You might have better luck with googling and using the "site:dslreports.com" option with the search. You can only access the results during DSLR's window but at least you can do the search in advance.

Donoreo I doubt that you will be able to export the data. I tried in either late December or early January, well before the site shut down and I received a message I would be notified when complete. Well, it never did anything and when I tried it a second time, it told me a request had already been made but still no exported file. I strongly suspect the function was either broken or disabled by the "hamsters" running the site.

To be fair, there were a few site features that had been broken for years. Maybe that was just one more of them?

InternetJeff Also, Heisenberg's uncertainty principle applies: the state of DSLR cannot be known precisely since attempts at exploring its state can (and probably will) alter that state. There are also some quantum state uncertainties that come into play now...

Welp, it now appears there is no longer any access at the top of the hour. The wave function is collapsed. The ~~cat~~ site is dead.

Something's up, the latest :55 to :06 window didn't open at all (checked from start to finish), though for an instant at exactly :06 I got the "Hmm, we can't find that site" message that I normally get at the start of the window. Hopefully just temporary?

Edit: Apparently not, still not opening as of Monday, though the DSLR home page continues to claim that there's a 5 minute window.

If the DSLR site admins were allowing access until the end of the month, I'd say time ran out.

GeekGirl1 Most likely the case, I thought of a few things I wanted to scrape off ~~DSLR~~ is the only reason I was even trying to get in.
