i read that the fees haven't been paid? What sort of fees are we talking about, how much for server fees etc

NICK_ADSL_UK The server hosting fees. DSLR didn't pay the $$$$ owed to Liquidweb. There was no money left to pay. This is just a guess: somwhere between $525 - $650 per month.. based on Liquidwebs pricing here .

IA scrapes tend to be very shallow.

Somewhat-Reticent They archive YouTube videos. I’m surprised that they do that because of the storage space it requires. They must have a room of servers just for that. If they archive videos, then you would think they would archive everything that isn’t sensitive information.

Heat84 Part of the problem is that DSLR has a tendency to block IA scrapes as “suspicious activity” or something like that.

Do they archive the actual YT videos or just the links? To my knowledge they did not actually ever upload the videos, just embedded them.

I once needed to find a video that had been removed from YouTube and I found it on the Wayback Machine.

If you’re talking about links to YouTube videos on DSLR, I don’t know.
