MichelR I tried that too. It’s interesting that vaccination services for at-risk groups are more readily-available than for everyone else. My mother can get an appointment at a pharmacy within walking distance for both, with multiple slots on multiple days.
I took a look for myself, and there is only one nearby pharmacy listed; it has a few slots on one day. Their Web site doesn’t list vaccination services for Quebec at all, and Clic Santé wants all of my details to schedule an appointment, but won’t divulge what the magic number is ($$$). They say only to call the pharmacist. If they are aware of vaccine availability and appointment slots, why can’t they also share the price? All other pharmacies offering the paid COVID-19 vaccines are about an hour away, each way, by bus. I have at least five pharmacies nearby, but only one may want to deal with this mess (didn’t actually try booking, nor calling to double-check availability).
I’m not going to bother. I will see if the same pharmacy that my mother uses can offer the flu shot on the same day (for someone under 65), and be done with it.
