zapman987 The slow down wouldn’t be in the field. That work is almost the same as phase 1, other than DAA nodes installed. All the amps need to be touched in all phases and lines cleaned up to go from low split to high split. Diplex filters need to be changed, along with FM and ATC frequency ingress shift from downstream to upstream which will need cleanup. The added high end above 1Ghz will need cleanup, but not right away as they won’t be using it right away.
Phase 2 and 3 slow-downs would be for all the work in the hubs upgrading to DAA and vCMTSs. When completed, virtually ALL coax and RF in the hubs will be gone. It’ll be all fiber and 10x less rack space.
