Anyone have a copy of the DSLR (or otherwise) list of HighSplit locations and phasing? Bonus if it also has the status's of each.

Going off the info, they would have until August 17 for the first part of the list, and we are in the middle of July… I know they will never hit those dates but I just wanted to point that out anyway.

smccloud

Jaybonaut A lot of the names in the first part of the list were added last year…..m

Yes, I have picture proof they listed my city on Feb 2, which would make it Aug 2. They are not going to hit it I am sure.

Jaybonaut The list had areas listed to be completed with equipment upgrades by end of march 2026 and end of June 2026. Previously finished areas were also listed. There was no specific dates. They are only behind on the areas completed by end of December 2025.

I suspect they are fixing to light up several areas in the next 3-6 months.

There is a Spectrum employee in Big Lake, MN on our Facebook community forum stating they are swapping our nodes, but when I asked on the official community forums I got radio silence.

I think I posted this before. I’m in Sheboygan.

Jaybonaut Don’t know how old that list is, but sure haven’t done much at all in MI from any list I’ve seen posted here. Can’t believe that little rink a dink town of Manistee, MI is on their! LOL

xpxp2002

cork1958 Yeah. These actually appear to be market lists rather than headend locations. My market is listed by city, not by the headend locations.

smccloud

Ok, they deleted my post in their official forums…….They really don’t like getting called out for not answering a question after a week, when every other question gets answered in less than a day.

smccloud

xpxp2002 They are a combination, as my parents’ market is Willmar, MN, and that is their headend location too. Mine is Buffalo, MN, and that is my headend location too.

terabitz

xpxp2002 I know some of the locations they previously listed were by hub and not market. Temple Terrace, FL and Brandon, FL were on that list, but both of those locales are part of the Tampa market.

smccloud

Just got a reply on Reddit, they still list my hub as upgraded in January 2026. But no launch for symmetrical speeds in my area yet. I am trying to figure out WTF they are thinking as Willmar, MN got upgraded after Buffalo, MN and has had symmetrical launched already……

MacLeech

smccloud Even after upgrading the hub equipment, the field equipment downstream of the node still have to be upgraded before symmetrical can be launched.

smccloud

MacLeech And as of right now, they have no timeline or plans to upgrade the downstream equipment in Big Lake even though they upgraded the hub back in January. 🙁

It’s like they want to lose customers, or they know most of the town has no choice so why bother.

Motorola870

xpxp2002 Hub locations. There were multiple cities listed from the same market multiple times on the list.

Jaybonaut

cork1958 It’s dated Feb 2.

Motorola870

smccloud. More than likely the amplifiers and passives (as needed) have already been upgraded. Does not mean they just put the rphy equipment in the headend. When the spectrum employees are saying hub they mean the service area group you are attached to.

smccloud

Motorola870 It just makes no sense to me why they would upgrade everything, then let it sit for six months without turning on High-Split and still have no planned time frame to. While in other locations, they upgrade everything, then turn on High-Split almost right away.

cork1958

Jaybonaut Duh! Says that right on that image. Looked right past it.

Motorola870

smccloud they have to test everything and launch symmetrical when the entire service area is ready. They aren’t turning it on immediately because they have to make sure things like line equalizers are dealt with along with other factors such as mitigating noise and other issues that crop up when they swap equipment and replace cabling.
