Hello everyone! It’s been a little while.
Spectrum has done their part and has swapped out my node. The entire node was down for maybe five and a half hours overnight as they went pedestal to pedestal replacing line extenders and other components.

A week or two before the node was replaced, I noticed Spectrum pulled some new Fiber from this node (where the Fiber splice case also exists) to another adjacent neighborhood. A day prior to the node swap, they pulled the Fiber into the neighborhood’s underground conduit. I assume they also performed a node split during the node replacement project, as it would seem odd to pull Fiber into another neighborhood so close to the existing node. I haven’t seen them try to replace the Coax infrastructure in said neighborhood with FTTP, so just making an assumption. They also took the time to clean up the excess Fiber slack to the right of the node, too.
No speed upgrades yet, but since the replacement outage, I haven’t seen any service hiccups.
