Anyone have a copy of the DSLR (or otherwise) list of HighSplit locations and phasing? Bonus if it also has the status's of each.

dv8silencer About 15% of the footprint has access up to 1Gbps symmetrical and 2Gig download with 1Gig upload.

They started upgrades back up during the summer. There is a current list on the official community forums with updates. Northport Alabama is the first phase 2 system with symmetrical speeds.

They will activate the speeds based on the hub level as upgrades are completed and checked off. They aren’t waiting until 2027 to activate speeds.

Motorola870 ahh I was asking specific to his post which was about Madison, WI and the surrounding area – with regards to that timeline – would areas within that general area be all ‘turned on’ at once (so near the end of the timeline) – or would areas go online separately.

I just got a maintenance notice from Spectrum regarding the upgrade work in my area.

The interesting part has been highlighted:
Technicians normally perform upgrades at night, but we have identified that your area requires additional work. Therefore, our technicians will work both during the day and at night to expedite the process for you.

I wonder what the additional work that is necessary is.

I will keep you guys updated.

penberth In my area when they upgraded the system here they had to access pedestals in backyards that required home owners to give access during the day as there is no alleyway easement. They might have had similar problems accessing the easements and need to work during the daytime to have access from property owners in certain areas.

Is it just me, or does the list of cities migrating to the “Cities Completed - Not Yet Enabled” part of the list on the Spectrum Community seem to be slowing down?

A spectrum guy stopped by my house last week and said that Columbus Ohio should be set for high-split by mid 2026.

Grain of salt, but wanted to update that. The guy stated that New Albany was already enabled and most of the backend work was done but finishing some other parts before it can be just turned on the the city and surrounding suburbs.

Buffalo, MN is listed as pending 2025, so some work has been done.

The following list includes cities estimated to have upgrades completed by the end of 2025. Partial completion indicates 1 or more hubs completed, but not the entire city. While upgrades may be completed, this would not indicate symmetrical or higher speed tiers being available within 6 months. Once a launch date is available, it will be added to the listings in the original posting above.

Well, according to Spectrum_Official on Reddit, Buffalo, MN high split will still be complete by the end of the year, including enabled somehow…..

At 40 Mbps, 10 TB would take just over 3 weeks. But you’d probably get some kind of abuse notice if you uploaded that much data at one time.

Maybe! I’ve seen many trucks from Nexlevel MP and others around the Saint Cloud and Sauk Rapids areas over the last few months - but I don’t know if they’re doing work for Spectrum, Quantum (prob. unlikely), T-Mobile Fiber, ECE Fiber, or others. If it gets me service better than 1Gbps down / 35Mbps up, I probably won’t care who is providing the service.

So getting faster upload speeds when high split is implemented is no guarantee you can upload any faster to Backblaze.

You should probably troubleshoot your current slow upload speed issue to Backblaze, it may save you some severe disappointment later.

MacLeech It tends to toop out at a max half my upload speed, so high-split will still help. I think it’s how they coded it so they don’t use all your bandwidth and make it so you can’t do anything else online if that makes sense.

smccloud Then 10TB should’ve taken 6 weeks, not 2 years. 30TB should take less than 6 months and you should have high split by then.
