fmd That is what they have been installing in my area. They changed my Amp out yesterday that is Two city lots away from me. Just waiting for the speed increases.

fmd Ive seen a few of these now in Amity Township, Douglassville PA area. The system that Comcast edged out in from the freedom (.panjde.comcast.net) region, originally from Montgomery County.

Don’t get me wrong, theres still more BT120 LE120’s. I’ve seen maybe 4 of these new ones so far.

Yeah I see the specifications page shows the picture of the new device, but a cut and paste of the old mb-100.

I have not seen any in my area yet, Keystone region (pitt.comcast.net).

I did hear there were 5000 trouble tickets in Freedom region caused by issues with these things. I believe theres new firmware thats helping to stabilize them.

This is the new Amp they installed yesterday during a full day outage. there were a bunch of contractor bucket trucks working. Hopefully in the near future i see FDX speeds.

hex0101 So today I looked online and they are offering 2GB down and 300 up for my area for $130 dollars. So i fired up the chat and the agent told me that if I upgrade from 1.2gb for $80 a month locked in for 5 yrs to 2gb it would go to $135 a month. So I laughed at him as I am getting 1.4gb down now and the extra 600mb down is not worth the money!

Oddly enough I occasionally check the rates and was going to actually make a post about this yesterday because it is hilarious.

1Gig is $50 month for 5 years.
2Gig goes up to $100 for 5 years. I swear they changed it from $70.

Stuff Yes, for new customers only. The previous price for 1 Gig for 5 years was $65 or $85, depending on your area.
