23 years on the old site. GuruGuy Edit. Went to the wayback machine and found that it was 23 years with this username. I had another account before this but locked myself out of it and just created a new one. So young and dumb back then hahahaha.

Thanks to this thread, I was able to find my start date. It was more difficult than I thought it would be but I mostly lurked lately, so It was hard to find a post. Last seen date is wrong but it was nice to see my joined date.

If I remember correctly, he wasn't happy with the new site's layout. Didn't he also comment about there not being an account delete option and @SLC_96 stated to contact him if he wanted to pull the permanent trigger.

bbbc I did see that post somewhere earlier today but I thought he was just pointing out that there was no 'delete account' button, I'm sure he even said something about not wanting to delete his account but that he was just mentioning it. Maybe I misread/misunderstood that though.

Please don't hold what I said as the gospel. I was actually trying to remember who it was (~~GuruGuy~~) that was deleted in all those posts.

bbbc I only noticed he was gone as we had a number of back and forth comments the other day and he was the one who was able to find and post my join date from DSLR when I gave up trying due to so many errors with the wayback machine, so that post is gone now. Luckily I did make a screen shot of what he found .....

Remembering "N9MD" another longtime DSLR member, who passed away in 2021.

He was in many DSLR forums but especially VoIP Tech Chat, for years.

He was quite into VoIP and as well he was a phone number collector---he had dozens of numbers (maybe more) which he claimed to all have uses for.

Back in 2011 the NY Times picked up on a DSLR discussion involving "N9MD" discussing unwanted phone calls.

N9MD was also very knowledgeable in medicine, travel, and in other areas....
