I don’t take a black and white stance.
I understand Israel’s need to proactively protect themselves. But I also agree with the idea that American Exceptionalism is highly arrogant.
We propped up the Shah and he did great evil and many of the old guard in Iran will never forget that.
But it doesn’t justify their oppressive regime. Neither do the oppressive regimes in Saudi and the rest of Arabia seem justified.

there is not cut and dry answer. What Bebe has done to the Gazans will go through the annals as evil just like the Holocaust. It just proves that no society is truly good.
But Hamas’s raison d’etre is the annihilation of Zion. I may disagree with Zionism, but I recognize the right of Jews to have a homeland. What they are doing in the West Banks is unfortiveable nevertheless. The fundamentalists there are bad people.
