GeekGirl1 Those political forums were a dumping ground of “like minded” people. Except that you had two groups who thought the other side was wrong. That’s an impossible moderation challenge, not to mention moderation within each forum.
The Canadian Politics forum was not: we were all in there and, for the most part, got along.
GeekGirl1 A “pub” is an open forum that allows topics very much outside the site’s public guidelines. (Any word on a formal community guideline?) To me, I don’t see the need to have one.
I would agree, all areas should follow the same guidelines.
