I just looked it up on my Plex server and IMDB. The Bletchley Circle season 1 has 3 episodes and season 2 has 4 episodes for a total of 7 episodes.

The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco has a total of 8 episodes and only one season.

I haven’t watched The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco,….yet. It has a number of Canadian actors and one would think that the title is a clue to it not bein a strictly UK project. So of note it has:

Jennifer Spence (Continuum, Travelers)
Colin Lawrence (The 100, Sanctuary)
Ben Cotton (Debris, Sight Unseen, Caprica, Defiance, Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome)

Octavean Ya saw that but decided to watch the Brit version…I like the actresses, they’ve been in quite a few shows. Sophie Rundle for 1. 👍

I finished watching 1883 and 1923 (both really good).

I started watching season 1 of Butterfly, but I’m not sure if I’ll finished it.

I watched a few Hallmark Christmas movies, A Very Merry Bridesmaid and still in the middle of A Maple Valley Christmas. About what you’d expect; pleasant enough.

I watched the first episode of The Runarounds. So far it looks good, and I’ll probably continue.

I didn’t think it was possible but I just watched an episode of SG-1 that I had never seen before… Season 9 episode 13 ripple effect. 👍😱

I finished Dept. Q.

Not a whole lot to say about it. It was solid. Nothing exceptional. A good crime thriller. I’ll keep watching it if/when a new season comes out.

I did see the movies from a few years ago. This series was based on the first movie: The Keeper of Lost Causes

It was a while since I saw them, so I forgot about the main character being shot. And it is a ~ 10 hour TV series compared to a 1.5 hour movie. I think the movie portrayed the Carl as a little less smarmy and more just generally impolite.

It is kind of funny how they kept most of the names similar, so you end up with Scotland having most of the characters with Danish-sounding names.

I’m halfway through Storm of the Century (1999). I’ve been on a bit of a Stephen King binge as of late. After this I might watch Red Rose (2002) or The Dark Tower

urbanriot Still watching but both seem very good. I have 2 more eps of The War… and should finish today. I’ve watched the first three eps of RH and so far enjoyed it. Love the origin story; it’s a different take on the legend which usually begins after he became an outlaw..

Yea, the funny thing about Robin Hood is that there’s no clear origin story of the mythical man, he may have been a working man who was upset over oppressive taxes, or he may have been a ‘spread the wealth’ kind of guy who hated rich people, or he may have simply been a bandit that didn’t want to push a plough.

Agreed. There really wasn’t much of a war, more like long term threats. This might have been better as a full series rather than as a miniseries. They could have included more action and extended it out for 2 or 3 seasons. The romance could have made for a good B plot.

ElQuintron Would you say its still worth a watch? Not sure when Im getting Disney again, but I know I will eventually.

Donut417 I (well my better half, actually) obtained it through alternative means. I would not Get D+ exclusively for it, as the latter half of the show drops the ball substantially. If you’re planning on watching a bunch of other stuff while you get the sub, then it would definitely be worth it.
