I watched Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.
Maybe it’s a matter of having extremely low expectations, but I thought it was fine. I knew it was a kid’s show going into it, and it was largely aimed at kids, so I wasn’t expecting much.
It was nice to have a Star Wars series that didn’t deal with Jedi and Sith, Rebels and the Empire. Just a regular adventure.
The kids were a little annoying. Particularly, the main two - the young boy with his head in the cloud that always does somthing stupid and brash, and the girl captain that is acts confident but is really in over her head. The other two, the tech girl and the nervous elephant alien were much better. I liked how the elephant kid already had a comb-over.
Towards the end, it suffers from what all kid-as-heros story runs into - where the kids have to save the day, even though there are much more capable adults around.
