Thought I'd start a new thread for suggesting functionality and not clog up the "Suggestions for additional forums" thread. How about embedding YT and other videos, twitter feeds, etc. Currently I can post links but embedding is much better.

I clicked on "Following" star for my favorite discussions, example Cablevision, Verizon, Microsoft, Security etc.
Next the the blue "Start a Discussion" there is "All Discussions", "Private Discussions", "Following"...
When I click on "Following" there is nothing there...it should list all my main topics.

I am really digging this multiple quotes from different posters in the same post.

It is more than that, for many other forums have a very similar tried and true format. This is different from all of them.

How do you quote more than one in the same post?

Donoreo Hilight text in one post, you'll get a (Quote) button, press it .. then Hilight text in another post, you'll get a (Quote) button, press it .. now your reply will have both quotes.

I wonder if the forum software would allow a section similar to what DSLR called "Null" where you could experiment with posting without messing up an existing forum. I suppose it could be thought of as a sandbox.

I see there's a weather sub in the Canadian forum. Since there are weather hobbyists in the U.S. and other countries too, it would be good to either have one for those, or merge the one in the Canadian forum into the "More" category, so weather in other areas is appropriate. Note it's Weather, not Climate discussions. Since the latter invariably descends into useless politicking, save that for elsewhere.

The weather was often a topic of discussion in the other social forums: Chicago, Extended Pacific Northwest, New England, New York, Northern California and Southeast. At least it was in the Southeast forum, not sure about the others. Other regional topics of interest were also discussed.

Even our DSLR Aussie and Japanese denizens have posted weather related stuff..

I recall when our late DSLR member Gary (Ghostpainter) worked very hard to make the weather forum. It was still active when it was moved to "old forums".

Weather is local, often VERY local, it should remain that way in the forums/tags as well.

Here I am at the bottom of this thread, and I want to go to the Forum/Tag top level to see other unread posts. Other than scrolling to the top to click the link, or click the BBF, and then find it in the list, how do I do that? This is what I meant earlier by navigation is clunky.

Donoreo Probably the quickest way would be to click on "Original Post" on the top of the slider to the right and then click on "Broadband Bulletin" which is the tag/forum name.

Maybe it's just my old eyesight, but could you make the font a bit bigger? Or if there is a way of doing that, let me know how. It is hard to read without putting my face up to the screen and straining...

hold your CTRL button down & spin your mouse wheel up&down to get to the size you like ..
