lesmikesell Hardly anyone needs more than wifi delivers. Mine isn’t great and it is still plenty for 4k video streaming at the corners of the house.
When properly installed, like with multiple access points around the house, all hardwired with Ethernet.
That’s why new home builders should either be installing access points themselves, or at least putting Ethernet in each room and teaching the homeowners about it.
Most people just use their rented gateway and nothing else, and are confused when the Wi-Fi barely reaches other rooms of the house, because you dropped down to 2.4GHz at like 30Mbps lol
Until I fixed their home network, my aunt/uncle were using just 1 router for their ~ 3,500 sq. foot house. Which of course didn’t work well.
