Demystifying the FDX channels: Each chunk of the allocated FDX spectrum is a resource block (RB). Each RB can be up to 192 MHz, so there can be up to three RBs in total (108-684 MHz).
Each RB has one OFDM (up to 192 MHz) and one or two OFDMAs (up to 2x96 MHz).
Each RB has a direction: Upstream or downstream. When OFDM is active, OFDMA is inactive, and vice versa. The RBs switch direction as the demand for upstream/downstream changes. The direction of an RB may be configured to be static.
In the launch configuration, two RBs are used (1 full + 1 almost half).
