One of the gas stations near my house (Centex) dropped 8c this morning, it’s the only one at $1.769, all the others are still firmly at $1.849 where they have been since Tuesday (Esso, Pioneer, PetroCan). I’ve got to drive to Ottawa for the day Saturday to take my kid to a BDay party, I’m hoping the 12c drop for Friday is semi-accurate as I’m below ¼ tank after commuting all week - the roughly 400km round trip, even at the “good” fuel economy of my PHEV (about 6.9L/100) is still about 28L of gas (almost half a tank), I would prefer to save that $3 if I can just by timing my purchase right - that would pay for my mcd’s coffee on Saturday morning 🙂
