Looked for a past thread on House of the Dragon, didn’t see one. Teaser for Season 3 is out. Absolute power is within grasp. #HOTD Season 3 returns this June on HBO Max.

ugly95 yes, this! I always loved Game of Thrones and that whole universe, and I really liked this show… but way too much time has passed between seasons, I forget where we left off.

I mean if time was of no concern, I guess I’d rewatch it all… but… time.

I didn’t even finish S3 E1. I end up starting it so late and I have to shut it off and go to sleep.

I used to do that for the original series. That eventually started taking a lot of time. This new series isn’t good enough for that.

Somewhat-Reticent Perhaps a Recap Special Episode would have helped.

I was expecting one, but the one I watched didn’t have it.

Somewhat-Reticent Yes or at least I was expecting one of those long recaps in the beginning of the episode like you get with other series like FROM or SILO or whatever.

PS: Apparently HBO ran a marathon of seasons 1 and 2 on June 20th and 21st prior to premiering the first episode of season 3.

AlphaPhoenix My copy starts with the static HBO intro, then the GoT music and HOTD intro (which is great), then goes right to where the dragon is eating a goat.

EP3 was pretty boring.

I caught up, its going a little slow but I’m getting dragged back in. Thats the issue when you have such long breaks between seasons… takes a bit to get pulled back in. I wonder if this is the last season or there be one more? I’m not sure I can see one more season, but we’ll see.
