Don’t be fooled by this link. It purports to download v26.8.1 and the download is so named, but when checking the hashes it is the same file as v26.8.0. Apparently only the Man in the Moon has the new version at this time, as it seems that apparently a switch of host providers is responsible for this problem as indicated here.
A major incident is currently affecting the download server as well as the dev-www site.
✅ The service was moved to another provider. This closes the issue (modulo DNS propagation).
“Main” downloads assets (LibO versions offered on the webpage) are in sync, but remaining data (src, flatpak, torrents etc) will take another few hours to copy over. The rsyncd is down it the meantime to avoid mirrors deleting files and re-downloading later.
