Donut417 The issue with Metro is the T Mobile network. Around by me there are areas T Mobile doesnt have coverage or has spotty coverage.
Yes, with wireless networks, it’s area dependent. Here in NJ, I’ve found Verizon Wireless (including MVNO XM) has the best coverage.
Verizon was one of the two original wireless service providers here (as “Bell Atlantic Mobile”) so they had many more cell sites with many of those on Verizon-owned buildings with full battery/generator UPS power backup.
For a long while, Verizon also had the best building penetration, with spectrum in the original 850 MHz band, while later providers, AT&T and T-Mobile, having access to only the newer, higher-frequency bands that were later added. After the new 700 and 600 MHz bands were opened, however, that was no longer the case, then.
