It's already Friday for almost 3 hours and no weekend thread.... 😉

We've had a highly unusual, dry weather during most of January , but we're now having an honest winter weather (not a PNW type) with snow on the ground and below 0C temps, and with down to -5C in the forecast. Brrrrr.....

Not complaining at all and this will Surely screw me over but this is the second straight year that I have not had to plow my driveway and only shoveled a path from the house to the driveway just because (I could have used a broom to do it) Very odd for North central Wisconsin. Ten day forecast. It is -4f now.

Double Trouble at the grocery store. Called in an hour earlier than scheduled and got out 15 minutes late. What I mean by double trouble is not only are people shopping for the big game but we are getting another snowstorm Saturday night into Sunday morning. And Sunday would have been my mom’s 69th birthday.

Looks like that one may have been caused by freezing rain, which can be exceedingly nasty as per my experience.
