You could get the Verizon Visa Card and set IT to autopay and get protection from unauthorized charges that way. I just signed up for it myself, not for that reason, but because it offers 4% for Groceries, Gas, Restaurants, some Walmart & Target stores. The only catch is that you can only use the points to pay your Fios or Wireless bill. I did change my autopay from my checking to the Visa.
I signed up for that Verizon Visa last year. Which is a great deal with the 4% back. With my new FiOS bill only $57.44, I earn almost enough every month to cover that bill.
I go lucky and got locked into a new two year deal in late December/early January. So I still get $10 off for auto pay with the Verizon Visa. Plus they gave me an extra $20 off a month for the deal. So I only pay $57.44 (all in) each month for Youtube Premium, Gigabit INternet, and Custom TV (With the TV Infotainment and Drama option I avoid the RSN fees). Plus, it locked me into the the old $9.49 broadcast rate. Allowing me to avoid the $5 increase that was going to happen. So $57.44 is after all taxes, fees, discounts, and one cable card.
Of course they recently started offering 2Gig service in my area. Which I would like to get. But, since my current cost is so low, my price would be double what I pay now. So I will stick with what I have. And even if/when they drop QAM TV itās still a good deal for YouTube Premium and Gigabit Internet. (I was all ready to drop TV anyway until they gave me the new two year deal when I added YouTube premium for $10 a month. Since that was cheaper than getting it directly from Google at $140 a year)
