02-23-2025 In Suits LA, Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.

AlphaPhoenix ‘Suits LA’ Canceled By NBC After One Season

Saw that coming a million miles away.

InternetJeff Because right now it’s on the edge of the cliff. They could either save it, or it will fall into oblivion and be canceled.

InternetJeff The flashbacks with Harvey are interesting, but I don’t think are enough to aid in saving the show.

It was an interesting run, but time to pull the plug if they can’t get this together.

Yea, it was bad. I couldn’t even finish it, there was nothing good about the show.

It was missing a ‘magic’ protagonist, it was missing the humor, it was missing the charm, and everyone was an insufferable lawyer trying to fuck over another insufferable lawyer. There was no cleverness in the writing.

It really felt like a charicature of the original show. As if someone who was vaguely familiar with some of the tropes of the original show slapped together a remake without really understanding why people liked the original. Which, really, was the same thing that happened to the end of the original series.

And that’s what tends to happen to a lot of TV shows that have a long run. Particularly noticeable in sit-coms where the humour becomes lazy and predictable (or relies extensively on catch-phrases).

No wonder this show is getting canceled even Louis Litt couldn’t save this episode absolutely horrible. 😧👎
