Dks01 I have certain advantages in that I no longer pay any payroll taxes or pension save income tax. I work cheap.
I was enticed by HR to come back to Wireless as a contractor, what we agreed on was the majority of my work will be from home, I will work only evenings for only 24 hours a week and if need be no more than 32 hours in a single week per month.
And as a contractor I am pulling down almost triple of what I was making as a employee but no benefits which I don’t need as I already have them from when I was employed then retired.
They also supplied a company truck should I need to travel out to a site, but for the most part it sits parked behind the shop.
