There's No Documentation Anywhere For Regular Members

I couldn't find any documentation, FAQs, or tutorials for rank-and-file users on how to use this forum's software, so I went to the Issues section at Flarum's Github site and made a thread. That Issues section is only meant for people writing, installing, and managing the forum software, but I didn't know what else to do. Why don't you guys start your own thread there and maybe they'll get annoyed enough to create help documentation for regular forum members using their forum software.

… may not have those skills in their CV - though if so, their code should be self-documenting.
A few do have commensurate communication and social skills.

Doing what? I'm not a programmer. I wish I was. I tried to learn, but my brain just doesn't wanna do it.😭

Most people today, including coders, don't communicate with adequate English. And many coders don't notate their code well, which is rule #1 in coding: Comment, comment, comment!

It may be a different place we are now in. But fair go. DSLReports had 20+ years of development and tweaking its way of operating. For a cobbled together site, as said above, launched in a matter of days, I give kudos to those who went into action. Full marks to them!!

A request:
I have determined how to follow a discussion at this new site.

Back at old site: I was able to follow any thread in a “selection” or “group”.. I would appreciate how to do this here, if possible.

For example, I’d like to follow all posts that are posted in The Apple area (even if all I’m interested in is iPhone & iPad areas). By following everything I learn about other iPhone and iPad issues other than IOS.
How to Follow everything in a group?

JanJ if no one gets back to you, I will walk you through this sometime tomorrow. It's a WIP but you can follow groups or forums

JanJ Go to the Apple Forum (Referred to as a Tag on this site) and click on Follow right below where it says Start a Discussion.

https://broadbandbulletin.com/t/apple

Then from this page https://broadbandbulletin.com/following you can select Discussions or Tags from the dropdown box. You will want Tags to see any Forums you are following. Think of Tags as a "shortcut" to the Forums.

JanJ Glad you got it sorted. I'm viewing the site on a Desktop PC so I'm sure it looks different than the mobile version on an iPhone. Also, I'm an Android user so. . . 😊

I remember when my old ant forum was on (forgot what they were before), ezboard.com, and then yuku.com. Those had big changes when companies took over the old ones.

The problem with this site is that it just doesn't look that good, and doesn't seem to be as easily configurable as others.
