Sometimes you’re just “booted out” / denied with no restrictions, other times you’re booted out with a black mark on your file that you can’t see which will ensure you’re thoroughly evaluated the next time an agent interacts with you, and sometimes you’re denied like Hydraglass explains.
I know someone who was denied entry, he circled back in the airport and waited for a day, tried again and was given entry. I know someone else who tried a similar tactic and was banned from Canada because of those shenanigans.
There’s no hard and fast rule since you’re dealing with human beings and it all depends on their mood. Some day this will probably be automated with AI and there will be hard and fast rules.
