I don’t understand these types of people. If those are your beliefs/preferences/standards, then you live by them; don’t presume any entitlement to force them on anyone else. This wasn’t acceptable, any more than I would expect my Muslim neighbours to rush toward me and throw my groceries in the street if they had a suspicion that I purchased a cut of pork.
It should be simple, and I will repeat: your beliefs affect you and guide your life; not mine, nor anyone else’s. If I don’t judge you because of your beliefs, I should be entitled to the same respect and courtesy in return.
This fool not only sought to impose his views on others, but saw fit to damage property, risk serious injury to others, and may have been trying to stream the event, potentially emboldening others. It is a sad state of affairs.
