It’s not even an abortion clinic but a “Reproductive Center”, and in CA, so it’s a bit perplexing. Cars don’t usually go “BOOM” unless packed with explosives.

I’ve never witnessed an EV on fire, but many gas powered car fires (my dad was a firefighter), they raage, but going boom not so much. But electrics, I think I’ve heard of it.

But if you observe the burn pattern in the camera feeds, it looks very directional. It was explosives, no doubt about it.

EVs are similar – lots of fire, but not much of an explosion.

While gasoline *vapors* can make a somewhat decent explosive; normally, most of it is still in liquid when it’s ignited during an accident, so it’s just a minor explosion possibly followed by a big fire.

According to its operating hours on its website, the office was not open at the time of the explosion.
In a Facebook post, representatives from the American Reproductive Centers including Dr. Maher Abdallah reported that no members of the team were harmed in the explosion.

The person believed responsible for an attack targeting a Southern California fertility clinic Saturday posted rambling online writings before an explosion that investigators are treating as an act of terrorism, according to a law enforcement official.

The suspect, who died in the explosion that tore through the clinic and rattled the upscale California city of Palm Springs, also attempted to record video or stream the attack, said the official, who was not authorized to discuss details of the attack and spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press.

Looks like the perpetrator comes from the nutty side as per:

the suspect communicated a belief that the world should not be populated, appear to shed light on the person’s state of mind and help explain investigators’ thesis that the attack was targeted and intentional.

He definitely did his part by removing himself from the gene pool, but with 8+ billion people left, that’s not going to have much of an impact. Reminds me of a Green Beret who blew up himself in a Cybertruck because he had to cleanse his mind and provide a wake-up call since Americans only pay attention to spectacles and violence….. 😟
