No Wifi was used. Just roaming with my cellular data.
Maybe “they” just blasted the alert to anyone with a number that has a Canadian area code?
On iPhones it’s built into iOS to be able to turn government alerts (especially the stupid “test” alerts 🙄 ) on or off:
In that same box we used to have something dramatically called “Presidential Alerts” which said we can’t turn them off. Now they just removed that box. Our “they” can still send them to us whether we want them or not.
