Dutton Ranch isn’t doing it for me ,besides the fake cowboys and entitled teenagers …..Beth and RIP are trying too hard to be this tough couple and it’s just seems forced. >(

I just finished the last episode of Dutton Ranch (s01e09). Overall I thought it was good. From what I understand, Taylor Sheridan didn’t write it (though he was involved), and the creator/writer left after season 1.

A more decent successor to the Yellowstone franchise than Marshals, at least. If it weren’t for the familiar characters, it might be a different story, though.

We’re now binging this series. Like many of the great classics, I was far too young to appreciate it when it originally aired. We just got done with Cannon.

Quinn Martin was an absolute genius. Next up gonna watch this.

The is another one we’re watching. I did enjoy this back as a teenager, but as an adult watching it adds a whole other dimension. Stephen J. Cannell was an absolute legend in the quality and vast number of shows he created and was involved with.

Wife had never seen this, but after we watched a couple episodes she now has a crush on Nick Mancuso of 40 years ago, LOL.

I just finished watching Highlander (The Series) and was sad it was over, I found comfort in experiencing the latest Highlander or immortal story with our usual assortment of regular guests, especially Roger Daltrey as Hugh Fitzcairn as the best and worst friend a person could have…

So while looking for something else to watch, I came across Tires on Netflix and absolutely lost it. Hilarious! As someone who a long time ago worked in a tire shop in Canada, the antics are 100% accurate to the experience (minus everyone being crystal clean in the show and not covered in grime). Definitely a great guy-humor show.

I finished Fargo Season 5.

I’ve watched the whole series. It’s always well acted, well-produced, well written and critically acclaimed. But I just can never really get into it. I don’t really know what it is. It’s good enough that I keep watching them. But I’m never really drawn in.

I watched Fargo Season 1 many years ago, but failed to get into the later seasons, since the story is mostly different for each season. But finally, maybe a year or two ago, I watched the rest. Overall, they were good. Some better than others. But each different.

david3 They always seemed to have a lot of weird stuff too. I vaguely remember the second season having some kind of UFO. And this last season, the one character apparently was like a viking that’s still alive. They weren’t major plotpoints so I’m not really sure what they were trying to do with it.

I watched Daredevil: Born Again - Season 2

I thought the season was really weak. I know everyone loves Vincent D’Onofrio’s performance as Fisk, but I’m getting tired of it. It feels like it’s the same villain every season now. And I find most of the scenes he’s in with his wife to be pretty boring.

And the B plot with the mayor’s intern and the reporter felt completely irrelevant to the rest of the characters. For the most part, they were their own little side story and it wasn’t an interesting one.
