Just started ‘Animal Control’ on Netflix, starring Joel McHale (I liked him in ‘Community’) and he’s got the same smart-alecky attitude. It’s got a likeable supporting cast too.
And now that Fallout is wrapping up their 2nd season, I’ve started on that to watch all at once. (Prime)
While we’re waiting for Predator: Bandlands to come on streaming, the Mrs and I have binged the Predator movies: Predator, Predator 2, Predators, The Predator, and Prey. We don’t care for the ‘AvP’ movies so we skipped those. All I’ve got left is Predator: Killer of Killers. (Hulu)
We also watched ‘Weapons’ (Netflix) since it was Oscar-nominated, we liked it…it was creepy (and gory!) in some places. The different points of view was interesting. I’ve got ‘Sinners’ bookmarked (another Oscar fav) but haven’t gotten to it yet.
And we found this movie called ‘Elevation’ (HBO) about these (presumably indestructible) creatures that came up from an underground hibernation, nearly wiping out the human race…the bizzare thing is that don’t go above 8,000 ft above sea level for whatever reason. So the survivors are all hanging out in the mountains of course trying to formulate a plan. It was good, and it was left open-ended for another story maybe.
