Half way through the first season of This City is Ours and I’m addicted to it, while at the same time super annoyed at how women in these stories can completely destroy everything these men build up if they feel slighted or can’t get their way.
For those who haven’t seen it, here’s the IMDB synopsis:
Michael, a longtime member of organized crime, falls in love with Diana, prompting him to reevaluate his life and contemplate a future beyond his criminal activities. His newfound love becomes both a motivation and a potential liability.
Sean Bean’s character is the patriarch of the family but the story is really about the guy who should be in charge, “Michael”.

It’s enjoyable but I feel like they’re stacking the deck a bit too hard against our protagonist.
