I watched The Chestnut Man
It’s a 6 episode Danish TV thriller, mystery, etc. series. It’s based on a novel (fiction). There were English dubs available.
Nothing groundbreaking. Just an enjoyable, serial-killer investigation story. It’s about a serial killer that leaves behind little Chestnut figures at the murder scenes. And the new murders appear to be related to the disappearance of a politician’s child a year earlier.
If something like True Detective is what you’re looking for, I think this would scratch that itch.
The series was self-contained. But I do see they have a second season coming next year.
