Update on June 26, 2025: Plans have reverted to 300, 500, 1000, 2000. But, now the gateway and unlimited data are included. Bye bye 1.2TB usage cap. bigcoda I guess your one of the lucky ones to get the 300 Mbps option. I was just on the 400 Mbps, the change plan screen would only give me the 1000 Mbps and 2000 Mbps options.

Mine was like that until I looked yesterday - i was surprised to see that - and the deal on the 2Gb service. But it is different today. Now 300Mbs still shows but at the same price as my 400Mbs, 500Mbs and 1Gb would be $15 more and 2 Gb would be $45 more. Guess you have to look every day.

Would be 70 but I do not do autopay or paperless billing.

Every ones experience with these new tiers, and price locks seems to vary. Depending on what region your in, and what speed tier plan your currently on. If you ask three different Xfinity reps questions about the new tiers, you will probably get three different answers. Let me tell you, my experience has not been that great. They would not offer me the 300 or 500 tier online. So I went down to the Xfinity store on June 26, he said he could only offer me the 1 year price on the 300 tier, $50 without auto pay and paperless. So he cancelled my Connect More 300, and switched me to the 300 mbps unlimited data, using my own modem. When I checked my account the next few days, I noticed the data counter was no longer counting up, but it was still saying I have a 1.2 TB cap. And it’s still showing my old Connect More 300 plan on my account. So I’ve been going back and forth with these reps, the last few days, to try to get this fixed. So today I noticed the data meter is no longer showing with the 1.2 TB cap. But I still have the issue with the my old Connect More 300, still showing on my account.

bigcoda You were asking me if my app still showed the 1.2 cap. I just looked at the app again and the data section is now gone completely and plan is updated.
Edit… This is from the website. The app is showing a “Something went wrong” error.

Tried again today, and now it does show lower tiers. For 5-year, from my current Fast (600/35, $89), I can get 300 for $-19, 500 for $-4, 1G for $+11, and 2G for $+26.

I am in a mid-split area, but am using an SB8200 and Asus RT-AC68U. Data cap is not an issue as I have yet to hit even 400GB.

If I go for the 500, or even 300, what gateway would Comcast send me? I have a feeling an XB7 would be the first choice for them? From what I can see, XB8 support Wifi6E, and XB7 is just normal WiFi6? Yes, I know I could always use bridge mode, too.

Andyross I already had an XB7 and kept it when I changed to the 400 Mbs service - just don’t pay extra for it now. It is Wifi6, no 6Ghz. If you see a deal you want, jump on it. One day I saw 2Gbs for +$15 and the next day it was +$45. Don’t really need that, but if I had had time to think about it I might have taken it anyway.

If you go with the 300 tier, they will probably give you a XB6. If you go with the 500 tier, you might get lucky and get a XB7.

I got the 1 year 500 plan at $65 with an XB8 they had. stacks of them.
getting 600 down, but only 42 up so far. gateway test locally and remotely as “perfect”/“very good” depending which tech I get. got a notice overnight the says local network outage scheduled for Monday midnight for service.

BTW XB* experience is good modem awful LAN going to bridge it as soon as speed problem is fixed.

hex0101 wireless speeds and coverage ( I see why they push extender pods/AP’s for this one)
also constantly informing me of NEW logins of already known devices sent to app.
the 600/42 is WIRED speed, same devices never get above 340/42, usually 250/x as only device on WLAN. my TP-LINK AX21 exceed ALL this plan can deliver to all devices throughout house and yard with equal or better controls and better antennas

For those that got the 5yr price lock with unlimited data, does the 1.2tb data cap still show on their website under your account. I just upgraded my parents. Went from 400/150meg plan to the 500/100meg plan, supposedly with the 5yr price lock. But when I login to the website, their plan shows the 500meg speed, but still shows 1.2tb cap in their data usage section.

clocks Mine was still showing 1.2 for a few days, see my above post (about 8 posts back) for how it looks now using the website. Using the Xfinity app all I get is error messages when I check the Data Usage section….

All the new tiers as of June 26, are supposed to include unlimited data, no matter if your on a price lock or not. Initially mine looked just like yours, but I did noticed that it stopped counting up, and counting my data. After going back and forth on reddit, complaining about the fact it still says I have a 1.2 TB cap, they removed it from my account. But I still have my other problem, that it’s listing the broadband facts for my old Connect More 300 with 1.2 TB cap, instead of my new 300 Mbps plan with unlimited data on my account. The App is also still displaying the 400 Mbps down for my old Connect More tier. The Web page shows the my correct speeds, that I’m receiving. I got tired of dealing with there reddit reps, trying to get them to correct this. Hopefully it’s just a bug, and they will correct it on the next billing cycle. This is what mine looks like now without the data counter.
