Ultibeam they had a toggle that if switched you could pay a little more each month ($5/m more usually) on each plan to get a 3 year price lock. I see they just extended the 3 years to 5.
Competition is tough. I’ll still stay on my locally owned and operated cable provider. It’s $71 a month for 1000/100 and in a year it’s a quick online chat to renew that price. I like them because they are local, family owned, all the people are right here, not overseas, and our latency is about 10-15ms. Sure I could pay $85 for Comcast for overseas support and 40ms latency. No thanks.
