Thought I'd start a new thread for suggesting functionality and not clog up the "Suggestions for additional forums" thread. How about embedding YT and other videos, twitter feeds, etc. Currently I can post links but embedding is much better.

It was because of how it was displayed. The main page for Flarum is not very good and the grouping did not help at all.

Now I know why I find the site navigation sucks (IMO). I would strongly dispute the second part of that statement. Constant scrolling is not desktop-friendly. Pagination is. It explains the main page as well being boxes: phone users and fingers.

I see the problem with the default. The child tags are listed horizontally to the end of the line, before beginning a new line of child tags. Well, don't give them room to list multiple tags horizontally!!! Append a bunch of underscores at the end of the name. The following two screencaps are rough demos, and need some "prettying-up" and better alignment, but should serve as an example...

It does. It looks very similar to MyBB and phpBB, also free like Beehive.

All of them are easy to navigate partially because they have a breadcrumb navigation. I could not find any Flarum extensions to do the same.

I have found it to be very user-friendly, with all of the features one would want in a forum. The screenshot is from an active site, and it is run by the developers of the software.

Is this a bug? I've seen it a couple times now using a couple of different browsers.

When I clicked the bell icon I got a screen full of html-looking text. Refreshing the page returns to the normal site, but the "-1" periodically returns.

InternetJeff My experience with this is that it happens when you click on a historical notification that hasn't been registered by the notification icon... so if you see two on the bell, but you drop down and you see three notifications, and you click on all three, you'll end up with the -1... I've gotten down to -3 on a good day.

@SLC_96 Not sure if this has been asked or not so apologies in advance.

I would like to propose a toggle option on the bottom of the homepage or within a user's profile options to expand the centered appearance of the various categorized forums. For example, take a look at how ArsTechnica.com allows you to utilize the entire width of your screen or viewing window. More horizontal text with less vertical scrolling for those with desire it.
