kirk1233 You would think. However, all of my family and friends that have made the switch have been satisfied, appreciate the cost savings, and have not switched back. The few that have had truck rolls after install were also happy since AT&T can only use CWA techs and Armstrong has been using 3rd party contractors for installs and truck rolls. These 3rd party folks often smell of cigs, pot, or are a little hood.
Most i talk to are sick of paying Armstrong prices and could give a shit if they get forgien tech support initially, as they already have that structure with other services like cell. If needed it becomes a CWA truck rolls. And they have people like me to help with minor config issues.
Armstrong isnt competitive in this market in terms of offers. Most are switching to Omni or AT&T when it becomes available. Armstrong still thinks $80 1gbps is a good deal and they still want $110 rasck rate for it when you can get 2gbps from the competition at that price.
