kirk1233 Isn’t that what funds Armstrong? Internet/over priced TV service over lines? People have bad experiences with Armstrong too. Our local Facebook feed has stories about hold times, waiting days to get service back, and above all the outrageous pricing. They totally botched fiber deployment in many neighborhoods around here, using the cheapest of the cheap contractors with non-english speaking workers, knocking the existing coax system out of balance and causing service disruptions, capacity related local outages, etc. . Armstrong isn’t the gold standard anymore, sorry, they have moved away from that. They are no better than other other provider. Just because you had a bad experience with a competitor doesn’t mean others had the same experience, just like the people on our community Facebook group, doesn’t mean everyone has a bad experience with Armstrong. Just saying, they are a for profit business just like the others.
AT&T’s gateway gives several diagnostic and signal related metrics to help me determine if I need a truck roll or not. Additionally, I know how to check for dust, dirt, etc. The call centers are scripted to direct you accordingly once you start talking like that. I can open a service request with all the details right from the AT&T portal, I don’t even need to call.
