I almost forgot, In 2010 on todays date April 10th a little after 6:30pm A Tornado lifted a few hundred yards from my house then tried to land again about 50 yards from house it wimped out and storm continued north east and was able to drop to the ground briefly a few miles away. It was rated an EF3 but by the time it got this far it was an EF 1 or less.

Area affected: Approximately 2 miles north of Hamburg (Marathon Co) to Merrill (Lincoln Co) to just west of Gleason (Lincoln Co)
Path length: 21.2 miles
Path width: 1050 yards (about 0.6 miles)
Additional info: The worst damage (EF3) occurred a bit after 6:20 pm just north of the Merrill airport. At least 22 homes and 7 businesses were destroyed, and another 22 homes and 1 business sustained major damage. Damage was estimated at just over $11 million.
