Did a bit of research on what could be a suitable replacement for getting xml TV listings. There’s a few places that look like they provide xml files that you can download. But those usually only offer about 2 days of listings, and have a ton of channels listed. I only need a few, and prefer to have the 7 day listings.

I think I figured it out. Seems to get me something. I tried the tvguide option and it’s a little too aggressive with the scraping requests (tvguide.com now denies requests from my IP, oops). Looks like you can edit the channels down to a custom list, which should lower the number of requests.
The tvtv channel listings look like they’ll provide most of what I want. But I don’t think the listings are as informative. For example, I don’t think they indicate which episodes are new, which is really nice to have.
