DrStrange Depends on the subject. Opening any kind of debates is a minefield. Years go, I was on a forum that had "Point, Counter Point" and it was pretty good. Only difference was, most were active duty and retired military so they respected the process and kept the personal attacks on the down low. As a mod, you would give them a warning if things went too far. If they kept it up, they got 3 days in the cooler. If they did it again, 10 day suspension. It kept the so called "puppets and trolls" down to a manageable level. It was called FredsPlace, then took over by Military dot com who pretty much ruined it. I was mod there for like 6 or so years before Mil dot com took it over and fired all of us. :-)
