We use Corning OptiTap here. There’s two options.
Option 1: Ports Sharing an Internal Splitter (Distributed Split)If you want all the customer drop ports to share the exact same optical signal right at the terminal, you use the Corning OptiSheath MultiPort Splitter Terminal.
This terminal features an integrated, factory-sealed passive optical splitter inside the enclosure itself (typically a 1×4 or 1×8 splitter configuration)
Option 2: Individual Home-Run Fibers to a Hub (Centralized Split) If you want the flexibility to control every single port individually and wire them back to a centralized hub, you use a standard Corning Multiport Service Terminal (MST) or an OptiSheath Terminal with an integrated splice tray. This version does not contain an internal splitter. Instead, every external OptiTap port maps to a dedicated, independent fiber strand inside a multi-fiber trunk cable (or “stub tail”) that extends out from the bottom of the enclosure. The multi-fiber tail is routed directly to a centralized Fiber Distribution Hub (FDH) cabinet or a central office. At that centralized hub, you plug or splice each individual fiber port into a centralized splitter panel. This gives you absolute control to activate ports one by one, cross-connect users to different splitters, or switch a specific subscriber over to a dedicated point-to-point active Ethernet service later without changing the neighborhood terminal.
In SECV’s system, each tap has a number written on it. Mine I believe says 32. The highest number I’ve seen was maybe 63? Lets say all of them are 4 port taps. You could really have 72 4 port taps all coming back to that 288 port FDH (Aerial or ground vault mount).
If I’m port 2 on tap 32 it may mean port 4 is port 128 in the cabinet, so I could be 126. This is assuming every tap from 32 and below are all 4 ports, becuase tap 1 would map to FDH ports 1,2,3,4, tap 2 would map to FDH ports 5,6,7,8 and so forth.

2 -> 126,
3 -> 127,
4 -> 128.
