Heat84 Guy54435 But why is it Guy54435 Nice to have Electronic section But why is it all the way at the bottom of the list?
HooRU I figure 200 MHz 2 channel is more than enough, I could probably manage with 10 MHz 1 channel. There’s a lot of cheap stuff out there.
HooRU Some of the cheap scopes come with signal generators, which I also need. Brother in law might have access to an old Tektronix boat anchor for me in the mean time. What advice do you guys have for probes?
Sparkchaser HooRU Brother in law might have access to an old Tektronix boat anchor for me in the mean time. What advice do you guys have for probes? Take the boat anchor. 😉 You’re working with audio. It’s not going to test the limits of the scope. IMO.
real_aurgathor In most cases, you want a probe with an equal or better bandwidth spec than the scope Should have an adjustable compensation Unless you want, or can have more than one set of probes, get a switchable x1/x10 probe
JanJ I still have a 465b. I rebuilt power supply once already. CRT has plenty of life. Haven’t powered it on in a couple years, though
HooRU Sparkchaser Brother in law got a free 15 MHz Phillips for me, I’ll get it the following weekend, I just need a probe now. It’s a boat anchor, but a little one, I forgot the model number.
Guy54435 Heat84 My guess is and its only a guess, SLC_96 is seeing if enough interest and traffic exists before its moved from the basement? Or they intended to move it and slipped their mind?
real_aurgathor Heat84 But why is it all the way at the bottom of the list? Most likely, the forums are displayed in their order of creation, and this was added last.

HooRU I have the scope and my repaired pedal, I’ve got the work cut out for me musically. I’m listening to Rebin Trower so I can get his sound in my head.
HooRU Guys, what is the clippy do dah called on a scope probe that clips to a lead on top of the pointy lead?
