My 2nd round predictions were embarrassing. Probably shouldn’t have went for two upsets in the West:
I got Carolina right but in 5 not 4.
Montreal wrong
Colorado wrong.
Vegas wrong
So only ¼ that round. Bringing my predictions to 5/12.
3rd round:
Eastern Conference
M1 Carolina vs. A3 Montreal
Carolina in 5 - Montreal has burned me twice so far, but Montreal can’t keep being the second best team in a series and win. They should have been blown out in both game 7s. Carolina seems to have the speed to keep up with Montreal, and the defence to shut them down. Once again, the only way I see Carolina losing is if old playoff Anderson shows up.
Western Conference
C1 Colorado vs. P1 Vegas
Colorado in 6 - I don’t think I’ve watched a single West game in its entirety. But Colorado seems like the only team that is above everyone else.
